GujrI tODI is a tune of six notes, instead of the complete seven. गुजरी तोडी में संपूर्ण सात स्वर के स्थान पर सिर्फ छे स्वर उपयोग करते हैं।
Hence it is called shADav rAAg in Indian Music System. इसीलीये विज्ञ इस राग को भारतीय संगीत व्यवस्थआ में षाडव षाडव मामते हैं।
